PVA

Not many people know that Polyvinyl Alcohol or PVA is available as a high tenacity yarn. This version is not soluble in water and is an excellent candidate to replace PEN yarns (which are not produced anymore) or PES yarns, for applications that demand a higher tensile strength and lower stretch. PVA has a good chemical resistance, low creep and low heat shrinkage.
