Antistatic yarns

Electric dissipation is essential for a lot of applications and products. Examples are electronic, medical or aerospace applications. For this reason, we have a stainless steel spun yarn in our range of products. It is made of a blend of stainless steel fibers (short cut steel fiber) and synthetic fibers (polyester fiber). By varying the mix of stainless steel and polyester, the conductive properties can be altered to match the desired level of conductivity. In turn, the synthetic fibers provide the soft and yarn-like touch of the yarn. These fibers can be used as an antistatic yarn or as EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference), protecting in a wide variety of applications. Our standard product is a Nm 50/2 steel/polyester blend yarn with 20% stainless steel and 80% polyester fibers.
