PTFE

Inside the family of fluor fibers, PTFE is one of the most commonly used products. The most recognizable brand is Teflon®. PTFE is appreciated for its non-stick character, high chemical and temperature resistance and good strength, abrasion resistance and an inherent flame resistance. Typical applications for PTFE are mechanical packing, sewing thread, filtration, cable protection and outdoor fabrics.
